“I am a Japanese Puerto Rican American. I struggle the most with my mental illness. Mental illness doesn’t discriminate.”

“I am a Japanese Puerto Rican American. I would have to say that I struggle the most with mental illness, and that has been the main theme almost all my life. These days I still don’t have all the answers, but I have started improvements on my mental health, which has made a big difference on my quality of life. Mental illness doesn’t discriminate. I have seen it in many different ethnicities, thus I feel that it is important to raise awareness on this issue.” – Sarah
